Job Description

Job Title: M&E, Reporting and Data Assistant

Working Station: District Umerkot

Reporting to: District Coordination Officer

Project title: Education Early Response for Emergency in Sindh

 

  1. Required qualifications.

Candidates with master’s degree in relevant fields and 3 years’ experience of working on rehabilitation projects as M&E, Reporting and Data Assistant with UN organisations/INGOs/NGOs

 

  1. Contract

The initial contract will have a duration of three months. The contract can be extended for another 3 months basis on the continuity of the project and satisfactory performance of the candidate.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Monitoring & Reporting Officer will be responsible for ensuring the monitoring of project activities and reporting.
    • Maintain database on a daily basis in Excel, MIS, or any other platform.
    • Share detailed and summarized reports on a daily, and weekly basis as per the donor requirement.
    • Develop/Update project monitoring plan and collect data through partners periodically.
    • Monitor the programme activities on regular bases and support evidence-based

Decision-making in programme interventions.

  • Conduct systematic monitoring of project activities to capture quantitative and qualitative data against indicators.
  •  Monitoring and Reporting Officer will be responsible for the analysis of different data in relation to the programme activities.
  • Verify programme beneficiaries as per criteria in proposal documents.
  • Support project staff by providing timely feedback based on monitoring visits to streamline project activities.
  • Undertake regular visits to the field to meet with project beneficiaries.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive and updated database for the project.
  • Maintain filing system (soft & hard) for project.
  • Compile and monitor beneficiaries’ feedback reports.
  • Supervise complaint redressal mechanism for the project period.  
  • Collect and maintain the MoVs (reports, Photographs, video clips) for the project activities.
  • Ensure project visibility as per the project guidelines.
  • To ensure the organization’s visibility.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.

 

  1. Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour
    • Good written and verbal communication in English.
    • Possess excellent interpersonal skills; Good resource and time management skills.
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Computer literate, knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (especially

knowledge of operating MIS) required.

  • Willingness to travel frequently.
